Watercress Line

Wizard Weekend went choo choo and twit twoo!

The Watercress Line transformed itself in to a place of magic and mischief over Halloween. We had a great turn out of children and adults dressed as witches, wizards and Halloween spooks!

Harry Potter fans had a great opportunity to walk over the famous iron footbridge that was used in the films - we had some great 'selfies' taken! (Photo of Olivia Randall).

The I Spy Competition was won by George Ward age 5, with his brilliant ‘spell starter’ of Choo Choo - twit - whooow! Click here with your magic wand to see George's entry and lots more art from the weekend.

The falcons and owls were a huge success with visitors able to hold them on their arm. The bugs and beasties at Alresford educated the public with fun facts whilst being shown many of the creepy crawlies up close like Rosie the tarantula!

Rides on the Haunted Miniature Railway, family friendly magic shows and the spooky tours were a hit with the younger children.

Thank you to everyone that attended Wizard Weekend. We hope you had a fantastically spooky time. We want to hear what you thought of the weekend. Please click here to take a short survey which takes just a few minutes to complete.
